The system provides both foresight and insight. The VIBit sensor can be installed on a raw mill gearbox.


Once installed, it tracks the machine’s tri-axial vibrations, temperature, and gearbox noise levels. It sends this information to an IIOT Platform. On this platform, machine anomaly detection algorithms analyze the sensor data. These algorithms expertly perform spectrum analysis, and gear box mesh frequencies which may indicate specific problems in the gear box. For example, if the system detects unusual vibration and a gradual temperature increase, it will send an alert to the appropriate users via e-mail. Then, these users can address the issue before it causes any machine downtime.
